Marbella Golf Country Club
Opened: 1994
Designer: Robert Trent Jones Snr.
White Tees: 5867m Par 72
Overview
In my opinion Marbella Golf and Country Club enjoys one of the nicest Clubhouses I have seen. A full sized Snooker table sits regally just inside the bar area. Beautifully appointed and with excellent hospitality team it makes for a great addition to the over experience
The practice facilities at Marbella Golf and Country Club are excellent. Hitting from mats and grass with a large short game area. They have a vibrant junior section which I feel is extremely important and noteworthy.
I found the first 9 holes to be “technical” whilst the back nine is more accommodating for those of us unable to hit a straight ball.
I play here frequently and always enjoy it.

Two things strike me about Santa Clara Golf. The first thing was the clubhouse. It feels like it is set on the highest point to the golf course and gives the most incredible views over the countryside and the Mediterranean.
The second thing I really appreciated was the practice facilities, With both open and covered practice bays, plenty of balls per bucket, excellent putting, chipping and bunker facilities.
The golf course is a good layout, decently wide fairways make the game enjoyable, consistent easy to read greens keep the frustration levels in check making for an entirely enjoyable day!
