The management at La Quinta Golf rotate the 3 nine hole loops to give a constantly varying challenge to both members and guests. My personal favourite 18 hole combination is made up of the A and C courses.

El Higueral: 9 hole course Par 36

Comprising an 18 hole championship length golf course and a full length 9 hole course Marbella Club Golf Resort is one of the best golf facilities on Costa del Sol.

Generous tree lined fairways with elevated tees and greens always in superb condition makes for a great day of golf.

Stunning views from the clubhouse terrace make the experience complete at this Marbella golf club.

Marbella Golf Country Club

Opened: 1994

Designer: Robert Trent Jones Snr.

White Tees: 5867m Par 72

In my opinion Marbella Golf and Country Club enjoys one of the nicest Clubhouses I have seen. A full sized Snooker table sits regally just inside the bar area. Beautifully appointed and with excellent hospitality team it makes for a great addition to the over experience

The practice facilities at Marbella Golf and Country Club are excellent. Hitting from mats and grass with a large short game area. They have a vibrant junior section which I feel is extremely important and noteworthy

I found the first 9 holes to be “technical” whilst the back nine is more accommodating for those of us unable to hit a straight ball.

I play here frequently and always enjoy it.

Rio Real Golf Club

16th tee(1)

Rio Real Golf Club is hugely popular with golfers visiting Costa del Sol and locals alike. Generous tree lined fairways clearly set out the challenge before you. As you walk down the 4th fairway towards the shimmering Mediterranean you will be hooked! This is an absolutely charming golf course near Marbella. A pleasure to play with a delightful warmth of hospitality awaiting you in the clubhouse.

Santa Clara Golf Club

Santa Clara 18th Green

Opened: 2001

Designed: Enrique Canales Busquets

White Tees: 5922m Par 71

Two things strike me about Santa Clara Golf. The first thing was the clubhouse. It feels like it is set on the highest point to the golf course and gives the most incredible views over the countryside and the Mediterranean.

The second thing I really appreciated was the practice facilities, With both open and covered practice bays, plenty of balls per bucket, excellent putting, chipping and bunker facilities.

The golf course is a good layout, decently wide fairways make the game enjoyable, consistent easy to read greens keep the frustration levels in check making for an entirely enjoyable day!

Santa Marie Golf_
