Overview
The oldest golf course in Malaga, this links course is situated close to Malaga airport and gives amazing close encounters with aircraft approaching and leaving. The sea runs alongside several of the holes imbuing Parador de Golf Malaga with its links playing characteristics. The golf course is always a pleasure to play and is one of my personal favourites. The fairways and greens are very generous and make excellent playing surfaces. The rough is rough! If you miss the fairway you will be punished according to how widely you miss it ! Tough but fair!

In my opinion Guadalhorce Golf is the best golf course in the suburbs of Malaga city. Lovely wide rolling fairways, big greens, a fabulous colonial style cortijo clubhouse, Guadalhorce has everything. Guadalhorce Golf Club feels special. This is a great golf course to play and provides a first class experience.

A relaxed atmosphere makes Anoreta Golf a welcoming place. Great food and wine in the clubhouse make the apres golf just as enjoyable as the golf. The golf course is set in the foothill of the mountains around Malaga. The fairways are nice and wide. There is not much room either side of them so being accurate off the tee is essential. There are some spectacular looking holes and unquestionably 3 of the toughest par fives I have ever encountered!

Baviera Golf is a delightful golf course! Complete with an outstanding club house and restaurant, first class practice facilities a day at Baviera Golf is going to make you happy.
Baviera Golf is not a long course, neither is it technical, each hole is fair and tells you how to play it. The secret to success at Baviera Golf is making your second shot as easy as possible. To do that you need to hit the right club from the tee. Finding the generous fairways is critical. Being on the short grass is far more important than being long off the tee.
Baviera Golf is well presented and in fabulous condition. This is easy to recommend!

Overview
Antequera Golf is about 30 minutes from Malaga city. It is set high in the El Torcal mountains; there is no other golf course like this anywhere in Spain. Ranked as the second toughest golf course in Andalucia, it is a spectacular place! The views from this mountainous golf course are staggering. It feels as though you can see forever!
Perhaps not a golf course for novice golfers or the very crooked hitter (like me) this is an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

Overview
Twenty seven challenging holes set in the hills surrounding Malaga close to the town of Rincon de la Victoria. Each combination of the nine hole loops makes an 18 hole par 72 challenge. Challenge is the right word! The fairways are lined with aged and wind toughened Oaks and Olives which make the setting of Lauro Golf nothing less than beautiful.
This is a technical golf course and to score well you will need to play conservatively and stick to a strategy of finding the fairway from the tee,
The golf course is very nicely presented and boasts a superb cortijo style clubhouse.

Torre del Mar is a fantastic little town just 20km from Malaga city very close to all of the featured golf courses.
Torre del Mar has fabulous beaches and a surprisingly high number of excellent restaurants and bars covering a diverse spectrum of style. My particular favourites are with the speciality fish restaurants or one of the venues that specialise in aged beef. You can eat and drink in Torre del Mar to a very high standard for an astonishing low price!

BQ Andalucia Beach Hotel 4 stars
Opened in 2003, Hotel BQ Andalucia Beach is a 4-star establishment that offers its guests all the amenities for a great holiday.
The hotel is situated 50 meters away from the beautiful Poniente beach and within walking distance from landmarks worth visiting, tapas restaurants, museums and other cultural attractions.
