Making the club fit you properly is obviously going to make it easier for you to hit. The downsides are that if like me a hook is your problem then the King Cobra might not be the one for you!

There are a few things which make this Mizuno, like all Mizunos, rather special. Its forged construction, made from a single billet of steel that is then forged to give a solid, consistent feel at impact. The thin top line further appeals to golfers who prefer a traditional look and feel and is especially welcome for those golfers who like to shape the ball.The Mizuno Pro provides golfers with the confidence and feedback to make precise shots and control ball flight.
The Mizuno pro is a players club. A very fine one. The attributes that make it so good also mean that it is not the right club for you if you are looking for ultimate forgiveness from your driving iron.

It looks a little odd, the hosel area does not suit my eye as I look down upon it, perhaps in time I would get used to it – but for the duration of this test it detracted from my overall enjoyment of the club.

Whilst larger than standard irons, the Taylormade Stealth UDI club features a sleek and minimalistic design that will appeal to many golfers. The clubhead features a low-profile shape that makes it easier to hit from a variety of lies.
The club incorporates TaylorMade’s Speed Bridge technology, which connects the sole and top-line of the clubhead to enhance energy transfer and increase ball speed. It works. The ball literally explodes off the clubface with a relatively high ball flight giving lots of carry.
It has a wide sole, very wide, making it look squat, almost hybrid like. Those looks translate into amazing forgiveness. This is an easy club to hit from any surface.

Titleist U505

Summary
The most forgiving driving iron in terms of easiest to get consistent results is the Ping Crossover. The best overall however in my opinion when balancing forgiveness against performance is the Titleist U505. If you go for fitting then I doubt that you will come away with anything other than a Titleist U505 in your bag. They are that good!
